Dynamic, engaging, empowering, and fun—these are just a few of the words students use to describe Kaitie’s teaching style. With more than six years of experience teaching private voice lessons and over a decade as a professional performer, recording artist, songwriter, and vocal coach, she has helped hundreds of students ages 5 to 85 grow as singers and performers.
Her students have gone on to start music careers of their own, become voice teachers, earn lead roles in musical theater productions, win vocal competitions, gain admission to music programs, serve as worship leaders, front bands, and yes—even become karaoke champions. Others simply want to sing with more confidence, improve their vocal skills, and enjoy music at a deeper level.
Whether you’re a complete beginner who only sings in the shower, an aspiring artist preparing for the stage, or an experienced vocalist looking to improve vocal health and technique, lessons are customized to fit your individual goals, learning style, and musical interests. A Washington native, Kaitie spent six years in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Commercial Voice from Belmont University. During her time in Nashville and beyond, she performed at many of the city’s most recognized venues, completed a nationwide radio tour, and shared the stage with artists including Russell Dickerson, Riley Green, and Adam Craig.
Today, Kaitie is an award-winning country recording artist and vocal coach based in Washington State. In 2025, she was honored by the Northwest Country Music Association as Favorite Regional Artist, Favorite Female Vocalist, and Songwriter of the Year.
Kaitie’s mission is simple: to help singers build healthy technique, confidence, artistry, performance skills, and a lifelong love of music in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Private singing lessons are available in person throughout the Auburn, Black Diamond, and Maple Valley area, as well as online nationwide.
